Culturescapes is a biennial multidisciplinary cultural festival based in Basel that has been promoting cross-cultural dialogue, mutual learning, collaboration and networking between different cultures for more than 20 years. We see ourselves as a platform for an inclusive, multicultural, open, and responsible society. In collaboration with over 70 cultural partner institutions from ten other cantons, we organize around 200 events per festival in all fields: performing and visual arts, film and literature, university lectures, public debates, and programs for children and young people.In 2025, Culturescapes will focus on the Sahara for the second time.
